Daily Manna · Day 58 · February 27

Seated on the Throne

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Revelation 3:21(King James Version)

Laodicea sat on a plateau with no good water. It was piped in over several miles and arrived tepid, unlike the hot springs at Hierapolis or the cold streams of Colossae nearby.

To that town Christ says: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire. And then the throne, offered not to the settled but to him that overcometh, on one stated precedent: even as I also overcame. The seat is real and it is shared. What disqualifies is not weakness. It is having enough.
